Andrea Szabo - Facilitator
Andrea Szabo is a vibrant and engaging workshop facilitator, online educator, performer, and choir director. Over the past two decades, she has spread laughter and joy to thousands through her roles as a performer, workshop facilitator, choir leader, singing teacher, life coach, and youth mentor.
Andrea's singing career took flight after completing her Performing Arts degree at the University of
Western Sydney. Her one-woman show, inspired by the iconic Mae West, earned her acclaim
as a touring performer. Throughout the late 1990s, her captivating songbook repertoire graced
5 Star venues across Australia. While on this musical journey, Andrea discovered her deep love
for jazz, channeling the spirit of legendary voices like Billie Holiday, Ella Fitzgerald, and
Dinah Washington. Her vocal prowess continued to evolve, expanding into a remarkable
three-octave range.
A true entertainer who continually pushes creative boundaries, Andrea has spent the last decade enchanting audiences as a cabaret artist and event host. Her stand-up comedy introduces us to her alter-ego, the psychic Ms. Zandria Seesalot, adding a delightful dimension to her performances. She ventured into Radio, hosting her own show ,and eventually showcased her musical talent through the release of three albums, one of which features her original compositions, while the others pay homage to the blues and jazz genres. Drawing on her European heritage, Andrea had formed the band 'Goulash,' which enjoyed a successful run before disbanding.'
Today, her musical journey continues with Original songwriting - leaning toward humor, and her ever-evolving musical adventure as choir mistress In the past she had been a Voice over talent, Playwright, Director, Producer and Workshop facilitator - Her acting prowess was displayed whilst filming for NETFLIX in the series IRREVERENT . Andrea worked as a clinical Hypnotherapist for 10 years and has recently closed her clinic and retired from this work to concentrate on other passionate life expressions. In addition to her performances, Andrea conducts enriching workshops, including "If you can talk you can sing," "Coaching the Creative," and "Intentional Living Strategies," inspiring individuals to discover the transformative power of music and creativity.
